Sandbox Tool 1.0 - New Google Adsense Preview
Published by Chris | Filed under Internet, Make Money Blogging, Self SEO | May 21st, 2007
Google Adsense is the major earning source for most webmasters, but if one thing Google has always been disapproves of is that it does not allow webmaster to know what ads being displayed on the websites or forums. Releasing Google Adsense Preview tool solved the problem to some extend but this preview tool was not sufficient for most webmaster as the tool was limited. Thanks to Amit Aggarwal of Labnol, the Adsense Sandbox 1.0 tool was developed.
Google Adsense Sandbox Tool v 1.0 give you two options for Adsense preview
1. Keywords: You just type in the keywords for which you want to preview Google Adsense in the “Type URL or Keywords” box and click the submit button.
2. URL: This is one of the major tool that Adsense Sandbox has. It allows you to preview all the adsense ads coming on a website whose URL is provided by you in the “Type URL or Keywords” box.
One of the main feature that I liked about Adsense sandbox is that it allows you to view all the ads that are being displayed on your website based on the Ad format such as 728 x 90, 250 x 250 etc. So that you can know what are the ads that will be displayed on choosing a particular ads format.
Adsense Sandbox Preview Tool also has is the geo-targeted Adsense preview tool. You can set the country in the Adsense sandbox tool you wish the result should display. You can also set it to “Auto” which I think sets the country automatically according to your IP address.
I think this tool could be a innovative tool in Adsense as it allows webmasters to have a more detailed looks on the ads being served by Google on their blog.

Google Site Targeted Campaigns
Published by Chris | Filed under Make Money Blogging | April 2nd, 2007
Adwords advertisers are allowed to target only the sites they want with Google site targeting. This is on a cost-per-thousand impression (CPM) basis. The CPM ad vie against the CPC (cost-per-thousand) ads in the auction. And if it comes first, it will run in place of the cost-per-click ad that would have otherwise show. As an Adsense publisher, you only get paid when some click on the ads but shouldn’t get paid for every ad impression that appears on your website. But the good thing about site–targeting ads on you site means more money.
So now the obvious question is how Google choose sites to run to site-targeted ad campaigns? Normally, Google looks for sites with quality content. But noted that you can have lots for content but if it’s not quality content which is useful to other people, it’s no use. Also if your site produces a high level of traffic and runs the “Advertise on the site link google look at that too.
How Does Site Targeted Help Built High Traffic
To make good money with site targeted CPM ads you need high level of traffic. And concentrate on only just a few good quality sites. As a direct advertiser you’re looking to maximize the number of CPM ads impressions between as much good quality sites.
Create A Quality Content
This is a must! Its obvious Advertisers like to advertise on high quality sites. I can’t stress this enough, if you want to attract site-targeted advertisers, make sure your site offers high quality “matchless content that are updated regularly. It will also be beneficial if your site covers industries which CPM advertisers are looking to advertise on. For example: technology, travel, media, web 2.0 and entertainment.
