Atlantis Space Shuttle Launch will be Twittered Live

NASA is getting even more social media savvy: the organization is sending 100 of its Twitter followers to Cape Canaveral for tomorrow’s launch of Atlantis ; NASA awarded tickets to the Tweetup to the first 100 people to register on its site. The move is an attempt to drive more interest in space exploration. It’s not the first time NASA ( @nasa on Twitter) has leveraged the social media messaging service.
