Twitter Testing New Tweet Notifications on Homepage

A select group of Twitter users have been granted a new feature that’s been a long time coming. Twitter is testing “tweet notifications” that will automatically call out new tweets since your last refresh, from the people you follow, on your Twitter.com homepage.
